Transfer to a 3* star hotel downtown (25 min). Check-in. Going to 3 h walking tour in the city center to see the most important sights: Saint Sava Orthodox Cathedral – the second largest Orthodox church in the world, Kalemegdan Fortress with the Victory monument from which spreads a magic panorama of the Belgrade rivers, Knez Mihailo pedestrian-shopping street, Republic Square.

Breakfast. Transfer to our first hiking stop in Western Serbia. We will go on an easy hiking tour at the mountain Maljen and its plateau Divcibare. It is a mountain 110 km away from Belgrade, at an altitude of about 1000 m with a pleasant and mild climate, with several nature reserves. It represents an “air spa” with a beneficial climate impact.

Breakfast. Transfer to the National Park Tara. Easy hiking tour with visiting the most beautiful viewpoints to the Drina canyon.

In the afternoon visiting Drvengrad (“Wooden City”) – the authentic village on a hill Mecavnik, built by the idea of the famous film director Emir Kusturica.

Breakfast. Transfer to Uvac canyon, a famous destination which is a Special natural reserve, known for its meanders and habitat of the griffon vulture. Boat drive on Uvac Lake, bird watching, visiting Ledena pećina (Icy cave). Visiting the wonderful viewpoint Molitva. Hiking tour around 2 h.

After the tour, we will have lunch at the camp close to Uvac Lake, with traditional meals from this region (Sjenicki cevapi – barbequed rolls of minced meat; Sjenicki white cheese, Sjenicka pita – a pie made of thin sheets of dough, filled with various ingredients, sudžuk – a special sausage made from minced meat, usually beef and, rakia – alcohol drink that can be found in every Serbian home, as brandy, it can be made from plum, apricot, apple, quince, grape…)
In the afternoon, on the way back to Zlatibor, we will stop to visit the 13th-century Mileseva Monastery near town Prijepolje and its superb examples of 13th-century fresco painting, including the famous ‘White Angel’
In the evening return to Zlatibor. Dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast. Packing and leaving accommodation at Zlatibor. Transfer to Central Serbia and visiting Ovcar-Kablar Gorge. Hiking tour to the top of Kablar where is a beautiful view on meanders of Western Morava River. After the tour, lunch in a nearby restaurant. Visiting some of the medieval monasteries in the gorge.

For those who don’t want to go on this moderate hiking tour, transfer to Sokobanja known for thermal springs. Easy hiking tour at the mountain Ozren.
On our way back to Sisevac, both groups meet and visit Temet winery. Wine degustation and snacks.
Returning to Sisevac in the evening. Dinner. Overnight.
Breakfast. Packing and leaving Despotovac towards Djerdap National Park.
Cruising tour through the most attractive part of Djerdap gorge between Serbia and Romania. We will pass by the monastery of Mrakonia, Hajduks’ Watermill, Decebalus Rex, and the Trajan’s Plaque.
After the tour, an easy hiking tour to a viewpoint to the mighty Danube River. Lunch in Captain Misha Hillock and its open-air gallery “Man, wood, water”. Traditional food in a natural environment from this region.
Afterward, visit Lepenski Vir, one of the oldest prehistoric sites in the world.
Sightseeing of the famous Golubac fortress at the entry of Djerdap gorge.
After the sightseeing tour, departure to Belgrade where we will arrive in the evening hours.
